When I donate to DSAL, where does my money go?

When you donate to DSAL, you are supporting the hundreds of families in the Charleston, Dorchester, and Berkeley County area of South Carolina. When you donate to our Buddy Walk, a small portion of that money goes to support the National Down Syndrome Society (another organization dedicated to supporting and advocating for our families and members with Down syndrome) and the rest of your donation stays right here. 

So what do we do with that money? It all goes towards events and educational opportunities to support the lives of our members. DSAL is completely run by volunteers and has no paid employees. Below are just a few examples of how your money supports DSAL's programs.
